All arenas have a state of the art custom blend footing. We have the equipment to give you the exact depth and moisture required for your needs.

The Ranch is open from play days, to breed shows or even open riding. We are prepared to host shows of any discipline.

 

Pikes Peak Park

Location: East up Sixth Street across from the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center.

Amenities: Features a tot lot, open grass area, restrooms, gazebo with picnic tables, horseshoe pits, and 1/2 court basketball. This park was awarded the 2008 Award of Excellence in the Park Development and Design category from California Parks and Recreation Society.

The Department operates 15 Parks , all offering various recreational opportunities, from open park space and play areas to picnic shelters and lighted sports fields. The City is also proud to operate Ingalls Park, a large equestrian complex which includes the City's major rodeo facility, Moreno Arena, our banquet and convention facility, Nellie Weaver Hall, and a variety of other amenities. Annually, Ingalls Park hosts two major rodeo events, the Norco Valley Fair, Norco Horseweek, a number of horse shows, classes and open riding.

In addition to Ingalls park, the City operates a number of public riding arenas in parks throughout the City. Our Community Center Complex is home to a wide range of recreational and sports programs, special events and classes. The Center offers a variety of facilities, including Riley Gymnasium, our 15,000 square foot gym, Community Center Ball field, the Norco Children's Center, home of the Wee People Program, Norco Community Center Pool- "The Plunge"- the Norco Youth Center/ Scout House, and a number of meeting halls and classrooms.

Amenities: Situated at the corner of Hamner Avenue and Detroit Street, Clark Park has a lighted ball diamond suitable for youth and adult softball, soccer and flag football.

Feel the Thrill of Indoor Corona Go Kart Racing!

Pole Position Raceway offers several Corona karting options. The most-popular go kart racing format is our Arrive & Drive program that allows customers to show up individually or in small groups and race in standard races. These kart races last approximately 10 minutes and drivers are separated into two categories. In addition to the adult karts (56" minimum height required) we have kid's karts for racers who are at least 48" tall and can safely drive. We also offer group events and party packages that provide private racing and reserved time slots. These packages are available in two, three and four-race formats and include items to make the occasion extra special. For larger groups Pole Position Raceway also offers full facility rentals . This has become a popular option for Corona team building, corporate events, company parties, new product launches, family reunions, and groups who want completely private go kart racing. Additionally, full facility rentals provide guests with the opportunity to run different race formats such as Ironman,Team Endurance or Elimination races. We also have special monthly events that are open to the public. The events include Ironman Races, Team Endurance Races, Youth Racing Camps and Driving Clinics.

George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center

Location: 3737 Crestview Avenue Corner of Sixth and Crestview

Nestled below the base of Norco Hills located on Sixth Street and Crestview lies the city's premier equestrian event center. One of the top amenities included in the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center is the Moreno Arena that hosts many rodeos,team roping, penning, dressage, and large horseshows throughout the year, as well as local equestrian events. This facility has also served as a stop for the Monty Roberts Join Up Tour and Chris Ledoux concert. The 85,000 square foot covered arena has permanent seating for 2,100 and is equipped with holding pens and chutes to meet the needs of events such as the annual PRCA and CCRA rodeos, including the California Finals Rodeo. There is one warm-up arena as well as portable restrooms.

Ingalls Park is in Phase 1 of the Master Plan! Sorry for the inconvenience, but it will be worth the wait! During this phase, please Do Not Enter facility off Crestview, continue East on Sixth Street and stay right to the front of the arena complex.

Nellie Weaver Hall calls Ingalls Park home. The hall is 10,000 square feet with a full industrial kitchen, auditorium seating for 400, banquet seating for 400, tables, chairs, dance floor and stage. It's ideal for weddings and large parties. Adjacent to the hall is an outdoor amphitheater with seating for 1,300, a great place for acoustic concerts, plays and productions of all kinds. Ingalls Parks is the host to the annual Norco Valley Fair.

Hidden Valley Nature Center

Hidden Valley Wildlife Area is located along the Santa Ana River, east of Norco on Arlington Avenue, one mile west of La Sierra Avenue. It is set on 1500 scenic acres and has access to 25 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Visitors can get away from the noise and lights of the city and enjoy the beautiful views of the river or the bluff overlooking the Santa Ana River bottom.

The Nature Center is open to the public on Saturdays 10AM – 4PM and to groups by appointment Monday through Friday. Within it you can find various live animals, such as a rabbit, snakes, turtles, birds and toads, different activities for children to enjoy and reconstructed scenes of animals in their natural habitat.

There are assortments of educational programs offered by appointment. Programs offered include presentations about the Wetlands, Native Americans, Geology and Santa Ana River Watershed. Depending on the program selected, the program may include a hike, hands-on activities, a craft, a game and live animal presentations.

Brownies, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts can participate in a variety of programs designed specifically for them.

Seasonal events teach visitors fascinating facts about an array of subjects, which can include nocturnal critters, reptiles and amphibians, spider and insects and much, much more.
